THE PROBLEM:
The wizarding world is divided between those who believe Voldemort has returned and those who don't. Harry sides with believers, who call themselves The Order of the Phoenix. When Hogwarts is removed from Dombeldore's control, Harry faces his worst enemies yet.
 
QUIDDITCH UPDATE:
Ron joins Harry on the Gryffindor uidditch team. But the fun is short-lived because Umbrige bans harry from playing for Gryffindor.
 
SCARY MONSTER:
The scariest ever: Harry takes his first standardized test.
 
MAGICAL GADGET:
Portkeys, everyday objects that instantly teleport wizards who touch them.
 
DEFENSE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS TEACHER:
Ministry of Magic Official Dolores Umbridge is sent to Hogwarts to make sure the students stay out of trouble. Underneath her sugary sewet voice, Umbridge is cruel and out to teach Harry a lesson about authority.
 
NEW SPELL:
The Imperius Curse. Basically, magical mind control. Few people can resist its power, but Harry is one of them.
 
WHAT HARRY LEARNS:
A lot. Dumbledore reveals that Harry's fate is tied with Voldemort's and that only one of them will survive. Harry also realizes that he should have more trust in the people who care about him... but he learns this lesson a little too late.
