It's been 35 years since Disney's feature animation studios first brought Winnie the Pooh to the big screen. But everyone's favorite honey-loving bear hasn't changed a bit. This summer, revisit Pooh Bear and all his friends—including Piglet, Eeyore and Tigger, too!—in a new Pooh adventure.
Pooh's latest journey takes place over a single day in the Hundred Acre Wood, starting with the hungry bear's quest to find honey. Pooh is quickly sidetracked by the adventures of his friends, including a contest to find Eeyore a new tail and a wild search when Christopher Robin goes missing. The film is created in the classic hand-drawn art-style from Walt Disney Animation Studios. It features five new original songs for Pooh and his pals.
Did You Know?
The movie's plot is based on stories from British writer A.A. Milne's original Pooh books, first published in 1927. Milne was inspired by his son's stuffed animals and named the boy character, Christopher Robin, after his son. The stuffed animals are now on display at the New York Public Library, in New York City. On the other side of the country, you can visit Winnie the Pooh's own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, in California.
