Birdie is an orphan who excels at luring monsters into traps with her singing voice. She is apprenticed to the one and only bogler (goblin hunter) in the world. When kids go missing, it’s up to her to figure out why.

The characters in this book are extremely believable. They seem like they could be real people, and they have real-life emotions and problems that ordinary people have, along with the fantasy problems that are part of the plot.

This book is for anyone who likes the Harry Potter books, The Hobbit, and other fantasy stories. Anyone who is looking for monsters galore will take great pleasure in this book. Also, anyone who loves to curl up with a good mystery will adore this story.
