Q&A: Bailee Madison
December 18, 2012Q&A: Bailee Madison
It’s a battle for the ages this Christmas. In Parental Guidance, in theatres December 25, old school parenting faces off against new school parenting. Grandfather Artie, played by Billy Crystal, is used to calling the shots. But when his wife Diane, played by Bette Midler, agrees to babysit their three grandkids while their new-age parents are out of town, all bets are off. Their granddaughter Harper, played by Bailee Madison, struggles to cope with the grandparents' traditional methods of tough rules, lots of love and old-fashioned games. For once, all members of the family must learn to bend in their ways in order to bind the family together.
Recently, Bailee Madison, 13, visited New York City to talk to TFK Kid Reporter Storm Bookhard about her role in the film. Bailee says Parental Guidance is a feel-good holiday film because viewers can relate to the characters. “You can just laugh and become closer with your family,” she says. “During the holiday season, we all need to laugh.” Watch the video above to see the interview.
