Adrian Fisher has designed more than 500 mazes in 30 countries. He holds the world record for the longest maze path ever built. Here, the British maze-master visits the Stra Maze, at Villa Pisani, in Italy.

Murray Maze
Fisher designed the Murray Maze, which is located at Scone Palace, in Perth, Scotland. Hedge mazes are built with evergreen bushes so that they can be enjoyed all year long. They are typically less difficult to complete than corn mazes.

Panel Fence Maze
The Panel Fence Maze in Maailma, Finland, has a different look. Panel fences are faster to set up and easier to care for. They can also be built in smaller spaces, since their walls are much smaller than those of hedge or corn mazes.

King Arthur’s Mirror Maze
King Arthur’s Mirror Maze is located in Longleat House, in Wiltshire, England. The Chapel uses lighting to add to the experience. Some arches are actually just mirrors, leading to a dead end. A mirror maze may seem six times larger than it actually is based on these tricks of the eye.
