Max Evans, 10, took this photo on August 24, 2016, while on vacation with his mom and brother in Ithaca, New York. The picture shows a waterfall in Taughannock State Park, on the gorge trail of the Taughannock Creek. Due to dry conditions during Max’s vacation, he was able to hike on the riverbed. “It was an amazing thing to walk on,” he said. “We saw many snakes, frogs, and little fish that my brother caught with his hands.”
