What will cities look like in the future? To find out, TFK Kid Reporter Claire Duncan interviewed student engineers at the 2012 Future City Competition Finals in Crystal City, Virginia. The Future City Competition is part of National Engineers Week, which aims to introduce students to engineering. More than 35,000 students from 1,300 middle schools competed throughout the school year. The top 37 teams made it to the national finals. First place went to Team Hyperion from Wisconsin's St. Mary Parish. They won an all expenses paid trip to space camp in Huntsville, Alabama. Watch the video above to see more from the competition.
