A Chat with China Anne

China Anne McClain has a lot to be thankful for this year. The 13-year-old already has a hit Disney Channel series, A.N.T. Farm, under her belt. Her career as a recording artist is taking off (keep an eye out for the release of her new album with her sisters in 2012). And this month, she was even invited to the White House to chat with First Lady Michelle Obama about the Joining Forces campaign (click here to view the video).

Now, the actress is getting ready to perform on one of the grandest stages of all: a float in the 85th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, in New York City. For her big parade debut, China Anne will be singing the song "Unstoppable," from the recently released A.N.T. Farm soundtrack. She joins a long list of celebrities on the famous parade route, including fellow Disney Channel star Zendaya, of Shake It Up!, the Muppets of Sesame Street and R&B queen Mary J. Blige, among many others.

So, what's the energetic teen most looking forward to about the parade and about the Thanksgiving holiday? Check out the video above to get the scoop straight from China Anne herself. The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade airs Thursday morning on NBC. Tune in to Disney Channel this Friday night to catch a special one-hour episode of A.N.T. Farm.
