Crane Migration
From mid-February to early April every year, 500,000 cranes stop along the Platte River, in Nebraska, to reenergize during their migration. It's the largest assemblage of cranes anywhere in the world. Ornithologist Paul Johnsgard studies birds. In this video, Johnsgard talks about the birds and their magnificent migration.
