UNICEF's DIGITAL DRUM is a solar-powered computer center preloaded with educational content. It helps get information about health, education and other issues to rural communities in Uganda, in Africa, where access to resources is limited. It is made from low-cost metal oil drums, and can hold up against the weather. The first Digital Drum was set up in March at a youth center in the Ugandan city of Gulu.
