Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Disney's 1992 film Newsies has hit the Broadway stage. The new musical follows a band of newsboys who go on strike after they are forced to pay more for the newspapers they sell. Both the film and the Broadway show are based on the true story of the newsboy strike of 1899, in New York City.
