Their debut single, "What Makes You Beautiful," topped the charts in Britain. Now, British boy band One Direction ("1D" to fans) and its catchy pop music are taking off in the U.S. The guys—Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik —formed the group in 2010 while competing on British talent show The X Factor. 1D's debut album, Up All Night, hit U.S. stores on March 13. "It's been absolutely incredible so far," Horan told TFK Kid Reporter Julia Horbacewicz, who interviewed the band during a visit to New York City.
