At the end of each year TIME For Kids releases its “Year In Pictures” issue. For this issue, TFK editors choose the most important stories of the year. Then, it’s the job of the photo editors to find out the best pictures for those stories. Don Heiney and Jill Tatara are the photo editors at Time For Kids. They helped decide what pictures would be placed in the issue. In this video, Heiney and Tatara talk about what makes a good photo and share some photos that didn't make the cut.
