Archaeologists in Egypt announced on May 30 that they recently discovered 250 sarcophagi. A sarcophagus is a coffin, often made of stone. These are about 2,500 years old, and contain well-preserved mummies. The painted sarcophagi will be displayed at the Grand Egyptian Museum, near Cairo.
