Princess Power Up
For the first time in almost 20 years, Princess Peach is the star of her own game in Princess Peach: Showtime! Players can help her save Sparkle Theater from Grape, a masked villain replacing different characters with her minions, the Sour Bunch. A player can explore 10 powerful transformations in the game, like Mermaid Peach and Cowgirl Peach.
Theresa Apolinario, at Nintendo, told TIME for Kids, “Princess Peach is so much more than just the ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom. She’s a hero. And she has all these different abilities. So it’s very inspirational that she can become all these different things.” Whether she’s a swordfighter or a cowgirl, Princess Peach is ready for adventure.
