In Teen Titans Go! To the Movies, five young superheroes have big dreams. Robin, Beast Boy, Starfire, Cyborg, and Raven want to be featured in a Hollywood film. But a leading movie director (voiced by Kristen Bell) rejects the idea. So the Titans look for a blockbuster-worthy villain against whom they can prove themselves—and change her mind.

Teen Titans Go! To the Movies hits theaters on July 27. The film is based on the Cartoon Network series Teen Titans Go! In the film, the Titans hope that taking on a big bad guy will be their key to stardom. But first, they might have to save the world.

“Everything you like about the show is bigger and better on the big screen,” Tara Strong told TIME for Kids. She voices the role of Raven. The film features music and epic battles with lots of “crazy stuff going on,” she adds.

Strong says that while the movie is funny, it also has an uplifting message for young people. “You don’t have to be extraordinary to matter,” she says, “and it’s okay to laugh at yourself.”
