Priceless Treasures

See 7,000 years of history in one place at the new Grand Egyptian Museum, in Cairo, Egypt. It’s filled with thousands of artifacts. It holds every item found in King Tut’s tomb. The Pyramids of Giza are nearby. Visitors can walk there from the museum. —By Scott Laird

Take a Trek

In Spanish, camino means “path.” El Camino de Costa Rica is more. It’s a 174-mile trail. It takes hikers through Costa Rica. Visitors see rivers and rainforests. Look for animals, such as monkeys and iguanas. —By Laura Dannen Redman

Stroll in the Sky

Enjoy the view from 2,050 feet in the air on the Huajiang Canyon Bridge. It’s in China’s remote Guizhou Province. Would you dare to walk on the glass path connecting two mountains? Visitors can also go up in a glass elevator. They can eat at the sky café. —By Sucheta Rawal

Miles of History

Murujuga Cultural Landscape is in Western Australia. It contains thousands of miles of ancient rock carvings. They’re up to 50,000 years old. Some depict extinct animals, such as the Tasmanian tiger. —By Michelle Tchea

Underwater Art

Goggles on! Reefline is an underwater sculpture park and snorkel trail. It’s in Miami Beach, Florida. Visitors can swim through the art. Some call it a “mermaid playground.” —By Nora Walsh
