Ants Go Marching
A group of ants is searching for a new home. Seven Curious Ants, by JOOHEE YOON, tells the story of that big adventure.
The ants are tired of doing heavy work. They want a home that is less cramped and dark. So they leave the anthill. One by one, they find a place that is just right. Joohee Yoon tells TIME for Kids she wanted each ant to be unique. “The ants are kind of my personality, divided into seven different parts,” she says.
Yoon’s illustrations are unique, too. She stamps layers of bright colors for each image. This makes the ants look lively on each page.
