Chloe Kim is a snowboarder. She has won two Olympic gold medals in the halfpipe event. She’s the first woman to have done this. At the 2026 Winter Olympics, Kim will compete for a third gold medal. The Games began on February 6, in Milan, Italy. Read what she has to say.
What’s your goal for the 2026 Winter Olympics?
I’m not thinking about winning so much. There’s so much amazing new talent. It’s such an honor to compete with the next generation.
What are you most excited about in these Olympic Games?
I love Italy. I love the culture. I love the food. I’m staying with my family this time. That’ll be really fun. I feel really chill going into it. These are my third Games. I know what to expect now.
Any new tricks we can expect?
I do have a couple of new tricks up my sleeve. You’ll have to tune in to see them.
