A group of playful pups trotted into the spotlight this month. They competed in the Puppy Bowl. The event airs every year before the Super Bowl. It’s shown on the Animal Planet network.
This year was the 22nd Puppy Bowl. It aired on February 8. There were 150 puppies. They ran and played on a mini football field.
This year’s competitors get down to business at Puppy Bowl XXII.

Go, Miss Coco!
Vijay Bissoondutt runs an animal shelter. It’s located on an island called Tortola. One of this year’s Puppy Bowl puppies came from the shelter. Her name is Miss Coco.
Miss Coco is from Tortola.
ANIMAL PLANET/WARNER BROS. DISCOVERYThe Tortola community threw a Puppy Bowl party. They got to “watch and support Miss Coco,” Bissoondutt told TIME for Kids. “It’s amazing to see how these four-legged players have fun,” he says.
