Stories can be fun to read. They can also be fun to write. How do you make a great story? Think of a roller coaster! Stories have ups and down. That’s what makes them exciting. Learn the parts of a story above.

The beginning of a story is the introduction. That’s where the reader meets the important characters. It sets a reader up to understand the rest of the story.

The problem is something the main character must deal with. It is introduced in the middle of the story. So is the turning point. That’s the most exciting part of the story. It often includes the solution too.

The ending ties it all together. The reader sees what happened to the characters in the story.
