Can you talk about your charity?

It started as a family project. My parents would donate used clothing, shoes, and toys to people who were less fortunate. I started my charity when I was 5 or 6 years old. It’s based in Ghana, in Africa, because that’s where my parents are from.

Why did you start your charity?

I was inspired by my parents. I wanted to help. It feels good to see all these children happy when they receive toys and clothes.

What’s an issue you’ve faced?

Definitely shipping, because it takes a while for the clothes to arrive. This is hard, because I want them to arrive as soon as possible.

What are your goals?

My goal would be to donate food, but it’s perishable and harder to ship. I want to donate more school items. And I’d like to recruit more people to help. With more people, we could expand. I’d love to donate more in the future!
