On February 13, the group Shipwreck World made an announcement: Paul Ehron and his team have found the wreck of the luxury steamer Lac La Belle, which sank in Lake Michigan 150 years ago (below, in 1866). Ehron, 80, began hunting shipwrecks at 15, according to the Associated Press. “It’s kind of a game,” he says. “Sometimes, you don’t have many pieces to put the puzzle together, but this one worked out.”
