Woody, Buzz, and their friends return for a story about the battle between technology and imagination, in Toy Story 5. Bonnie becomes attached to an electronic tablet called Lilypad. For SCARLETT SPEARS, 8, who voices Bonnie, imagination is part of what makes her character special. Spears says she connects with Bonnie because “we both love our toys . . . and have a big imagination.” Scarlett hopes audiences will see Bonnie as “a really kind girl” and enjoy the movie’s topics of “friendship, happiness,” and “the whole new concept” of tech versus toys. The movie stars Juno Temple as Ivy and MICHAEL B. JORDAN as Ollie. “I hope everyone who watches this movie takes away the theme of empathy,” Jordan says. “Empathy is the strongest emotion that can bring people together.”

Swapped is the perfect blend of humor, plot twists, and life lessons. It’s streaming on Netflix now. —By TFK Kid Reporter Aubrey Lamirault
