We love hearing about your dreams and ideas for the future. Whether you know what you want your job to be or you’re considering your options, your answers show how creative and driven you are.

We asked you what matters most in a career: what you need your job to include, and how your goals have changed over time. Here are a few of your responses.

My future job is to be a writer. I want to pursue this because I like blending words together to make a masterpiece.—Anderson, 11, California

I want to be a professional guitarist. Low-key, I wanted to be a racer when I was 5. That’s obviously changed.
