- Single sign-on (SSO): If your district uses Clever or Google SSO, students and teachers can access Your Hot Job with their existing school credentials—no new usernames or passwords to remember. Need help? Visit our SSO FAQs for best practices and step-by-step guidance.
- Manual accounts: Students can create their own free accounts with an email address. Tip: Use our password management printable to keep track!
How To Implement Your Hot Job in Your Classroom
Whether it’s a quick activity or a deeper integration, Your Hot Job is designed to work with your schedule, your curriculum, and your students’ needs.
- Plug into existing curriculum. Drop in a single article, video, or Power Skills Course to enhance units in ELA, social studies, STEM, AVID, advisory, or SEL.
- Run a full Career Exploration Unit. Use our Unit of Study to guide students through an exploration of their motivations, strengths, and definitions of success.
- Make the most of Career Day. Have students explore industries and power skills before, during, or after your school’s Career Day. Your Hot Job will prepare them to ask better questions and allow them to more clearly reflect on what they learned.
- Extend learning beyond school. Take advantage of the Beyond-the-Classroom Activities to keep career conversations going at home, in afterschool programs, or in the community.

- Track Progress. Follow your students’ on-site progress using a dashboard created specifically for educators.
- Monitor Engagement. See which rewards each student has earned for engaging with Your Hot Job articles and videos.
- See Results. As each student takes the Skills Explorer quiz, you’ll be able to access their unique results.
