Ice cream used to be a treat for the wealthy. It wasn’t easy for everyone else to find. That’s until Augustus Jackson solved this problem. Ice Cream Man is Jackson’s biography. It was written by Glenda Armand (right) and Kim Freeman (left). TFK Kid Reporter Mason Langer spoke with them.

Freeman had the idea for the book. “I love ice cream, so let’s look at its history,” she told TFK. The book shows how Jackson pursued his interests. The authors hope kids do too. It might lead to sweet success.
