Can You Go Global?

This week’s issue of TIME for Kids features news stories about the planet’s population, an international conference, and the World Cup. Each of these stories is about an issue of interest to people worldwide—not just those who live in your town or state. Someone reading this magazine in another country might be just as interested in these stories as you are. Imagine that!

Junior Journalists, we want to know:

Can you go global? Choose a global news event to write about. (That means a story that affects more than just your community, state, or country.) What’s going on, and why is it important for people everywhere to know about? After you’ve written your story, ask a teacher, parent, or guardian to share it with us at timeforkids.com/tfkpressclub or to send it to tfkpressclub@time.com.
