The Los Angeles Queens are the Women’s Professional Baseball League champions. They won the 2026 Championship on September 22. That makes them the first winners of the league.

The Los Angeles Queens battled the San Francisco Firebells. They played a best-of-five series. It was held at Robin Roberts Stadium. That’s in Springfield, Illinois. The series went down to the fifth and final game.

The Queens won 2–0 in a shutout. Their pitcher was Ayami Sato. She allowed no runs and only five hits. She was awarded Most Valuable Player. Sato addressed the crowd through a translator. “My mind and my pitching connected successfully,” she said. “And we won.”
