Players join their country’s team for the World Cup. Here are four players to watch in this year’s tournament.

BUKAYO SAKA (above) will be playing for England. Saka has been playing professional soccer since he was 17. He played in the 2022 World Cup, too.

VINÍCIUS JÚNIOR will be playing on Brazil’s national team. This is his second World Cup. He’s considered one of the best players in the world.

VÍTOR MACHADO FERREIRA is known as Vitinha. He’ll play for Portugal. Last season, he completed more passes than anyone in his league.

KYLIAN MBAPPÉ will play for France. He played in the 2022 World Cup. He scored four goals in the finals. He’s the first player in history to do so.
