Rooms to Explore

If you need space for small things, like insects, and big things, like dinosaur bones, what building do you need? That is one question in Rebecca Donnelly’s What’s That Building? The book gets readers thinking about architecture. They learn by way of a guessing game. Drawings by Jocelyn Cho add to the fun.
Moving to America from England, Donnelly noticed differences in the buildings. “Architecture is everywhere around you,” she told TFK. “We wanted to show kids that architecture is relevant to their own lives.”
