DISNEY

Ralph is a misunderstood video-game character and the star of Disney’s 2012 animated feature Wreck-It Ralph. He’s back, in the film’s sequel, Ralph Breaks the Internet, which hits the big screen on November 21.

The movie follows Ralph and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz as they venture into the depths of the Internet. They’re searching for a replacement part needed to fix Vanellope’s video game, Sugar Rush. As it turns out, the Internet is unpredictable. It’s also fast! Vanellope loves the excitement of the World Wide Web. Ralph just wants to go home.

PHIL JOHNSTON cowrote and codirected the film. He says it offers an important message about friendship. “Friends don’t have to have the same dream,” Johnston told TFK Kid Reporter Ruby West. “You can still be friends with someone who doesn’t like the same things. A good friendship can survive that and actually get stronger.”
