Po and his friends reunite in the highly anticipated movie Kung Fu Panda 4. Before Po can become the Spiritual Leader of the Valley of Peace, he has to choose a new Dragon Warrior. The crew embarks on a quest to find one. The mission intensifies as the team confronts a new villain, the Chameleon. She’s a lizard sorceress with shape-shifting power.

Mike Mitchell directed the movie. He says change is one of its major themes. “Change is not merely about discarding the past,” Mitchell told TIME for Kids. It’s about “building upon the foundation of who you are.”

Kung Fu Panda 4 explores this theme with a blend of action and fun. “In our epic kung fu comedy, we showcase how characters navigate through change while staying true to themselves,” Mitchell says. “All while entertaining audiences with thrilling battles and hilarious antics.”

The film wraps a powerful message in an action-packed adventure. It’ll delight audiences of all ages. Kung Fu Panda 4 is in theaters on March 8.
