Giving Green
Giving gifts is fun. But it can make a lot of waste. Here are some ideas for “greener” gifts. They are more planet-friendly.
Choose Used
(Above) Find gifts that have been gently used. Go to a thrift store. Or check yard sales.
Reduce Wrapping
Wrapping paper is often thrown away. This is wasteful. Put your gift in a reusable bag. Or reuse old cloth as giftwrap.
Make Something
You do not have to buy gifts. Make art from things at home. Or bake a treat. It is the thought that counts!
