Being a Buddy

Getting Started

Sammie collected plastic. Her community helped gather 1,200 pounds of plastic lids.

The lids were recycled to make benches. Recycling helps the environment.

Sammie’s benches are all over the United States. They can be found around the world. She recently helped place a bench in Ghana, Africa.
