Some animals eat only meat. Others eat only plants. Some eat both. How can we tell who eats what? We can use this chart. It is called a Venn diagram.
The animals on the left are carnivores. Those on the right are herbivores. Do you see the animals in the middle? Those are omnivores. They are in the middle because they eat both meat and plants.
