A new season of the animated TV series Trollhunters comes to Netflix today. In the show, trolls live in a secret realm beneath the Earth. They must be protected from the evil troll Gunmar. He wants to take over the land of the trolls—as well as the world of humans. The central character is Jim Lake Jr., an ordinary teenager who finds a magic amulet. He then becomes a trollhunter, working to protect both trolls and humans from danger. So far, Jim has fought this battle in the magical realm. But in this third and final season, the trolls are headed for the small suburban town where Jim lives.

“What I love about this show is that it has such unexpected twists and turns,” actor Mark Hamill (pictured) told TFK. He voices the part of Dictatious, who works for Gunmar. But Dictatious isn’t always as bad as he seems. “He’s evolved and changed and is much different now from when I started,” Hamill says. “He’s got flaws and is sometimes silly and foolish.”

Hamill plays a magical creature on the show. But he says he would like to live in the human world portrayed in Trollhunters. “I love how it reminds me of my childhood looking for adventures around the corner,” he says.
