From Sea to Sea
An ocean is a huge body of water. Oceans cover the globe. They are deep and wide. And they are important habitats. Many plants and animals live in these salty waters. Get to know our oceans.
There are five oceans.
They are the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Arctic, and Southern Oceans. Can you find them on the map?
Oceans cover most of the Earth.
Look at this photo. See the blue areas? Those are oceans. Almost all of the Earth’s water is oceans.
There is lots of life in the sea.
There are plants. There are fish. There are even mammals. Most sea life has not even been discovered yet.
Much is unexplored.
People have seen only a small part of the oceans. This vehicle explores the deep sea. We cannot swim there.
