Share Gratitude

Acts of service can take place anywhere. Show gratitude when you see them. That means saying thanks. Choose a way that works for you.

1. Use your words.

Saying thank-you is the simplest way. When someone helps, say thanks. This shows appreciation.

2. Make a card.

Express your feelings in a drawing. Firefighters keep the community safe. Doctors keep people healthy. Write a card to thank them.

3. Give a gift.

A gift can be a sign of thanks. It does not have to be big or expensive. You can make your gift. Get crafty.

4. Ask to pitch in.

Do you see someone helping? Maybe you can join in. Ask a trusted adult for permission first.
