We have tools to measure weather. Some measure rain. Others measure temperature. Have you seen any of these tools?

Anemometer

This tool (above) measures wind speed. Cups catch the wind. This turns a dial. The dial shows wind speed.

Barometer

This tool measures air pressure. Rising pressure means dry air. Falling air pressure means rain.

Thermometer

This tool measures temperature. A high temperature is hot. A low temperature is cold.

Rain Gauge

This tool measures rainfall. Rain collects in the gauge. That tells you how much has fallen.
