It is good to understand your emotions. Can you notice how others are feeling too? They may not say out loud how they are feeling. But you can look for signs. Then you can act.

A friend is smiling. They are laughing. They are clapping and jumping. Did you guess it? They are happy! (above) This is a great feeling to share. Join them. It is fun to be happy together.

A friend is sitting alone. They are frowning and tearful. Did you guess it? This friend is sad. Ask what they need. They might want help from you or an adult. They might want company. Sit down. Then they will not be alone.
