What's Your Weather Report?

Whether it’s sunny or gray, scorching hot or freezing cold, the weather is always a topic of conversation. This week, Junior Journalists, you’ll be in the weather reporter’s seat.

Mission 15: What’s Your Weather Report?

One of the first things people do when they wake up in the morning is check the weather. They look out the window to see if it’s rainy or sunny. They watch weather reports on the news to hear the latest predictions. Weather affects everything from how we dress to how we plan our day. That’s why experts work hard to predict the weather as accurately as possible.

Junior Journalists, we want to know: What’s your weather report? Tell us what the weather has been like where you live, or what kind of weather people in your area may expect in the coming weeks. Conduct your research using trustworthy sources, and interview someone nearby to get a local perspective. Then communicate what you’ve learned in an article or a video. Ask a teacher, parent, or guardian to send it to us here or at tfkpressclub@time.com.
